Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Florida 16, Starke, FL, USA
Description:

Camp Blanding Joint Training Center is a primary military reservation and training base for the Florida National Guard, both the Florida Army and Air National Guard, located near Starke, Florida.

The camp, which is about 73,000 acres (300 km²), was originally established in 1939, as a training ground for the Florida National Guard and it was named after Lieutenant General Albert H. Blanding, a Florida native and the commander of the 31st Infantry Division in World War I.

The camp's infrastructure includes several training ranges, barracks, an airfield, as well as other facilities for combat training. It has various training environments including an improved and unimproved Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) facility, multiple ranges, and training areas to simulate both urban and rural environments.

Camp Blanding is also home to the Camp Blanding Museum and Memorial Park, which focuses on the military history of the site, the role it played in World War II, and its ongoing importance to the U.S. military.
