NAS Pensacola

NAS Pensacola is a naval air station located in Pensacola, Florida, United States. It serves as the primary training base for all Naval aviators and naval flight officers in the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Additionally, the base is home to the Blue Angels, the Navy’s flight demonstration team.

NAS Pensacola has a rich history dating back to 1826 when the U.S. Navy established a naval yard in the area to build and repair ships. Today, it covers over 8,000 acres and includes various departments responsible for maintaining Naval readiness such as air operations, aviation training, and aviation logistics. The base also has several recreational facilities available to military members, including a golf course, bowling alley, and fitness center.
